Sponsorship opportunity for the 3rd Annual PMI-SoMD “Tee-ing Off against Hunger” Charity Golf Tournament benefitting the Southern Maryland Food Bank on Friday, September 7th, 2018 at Breton Bay Golf & Country Club. The Southern Maryland Food Bank has been in operation since 1983 and is dedicated to serving the Tri-County area of Southern Maryland by providing direct outreach services and a steady supply of bulk food to grass root organizations that assist those in need without prejudice. They accomplish this by working with pantries, group homes, soup kitchens, partners, sponsors, and the communities to ensure that they are using the very best business practices possible. They also provide educational training, events, projects and new programs, as needed, to ensure they are reaching those living in crisis. Their goal is to fill the gap that exists, due to food insecurity, and to help better the lives of those they serve. The Project Management Institute is a not-for-profit professional association which establishes professional standards for project management, provides seminars, educational programs and professional certifications. PMI-SoMD has over 800 members drawn from all levels of Southern Maryland government, business and educational communities. The Chapter’s vision is to serve as a dynamic, leading edge organization of dedicated project management professionals who are committed to serving the Southern Maryland business and educational communities through the advancement of Project Management knowledge.
