Vision

The PMI Southern Maryland Chapter will be recognized as a dynamic leading-edge organization comprised of dedicated project management professionals who are committed to serving the business and educational community of Southern Maryland through the advancement of Project Management knowledge.

 

Mission and Objectives

• Provide a forum for project management professionals and business community leaders.

• Promote PMI principles through networking, sharing project experiences, providing and receiving training.

• Support project management professionals with certification efforts.

• Advance the mission and objective of the PMI within the Southern Maryland area.

• Develop a growing and committed membership in Southern Maryland through an aggressive recruiting plan.

• Promote professional project management principles and techniques with local businesses, universities, and professional associations.

• Develop and provide quality programs based on Southern Maryland project management needs.

• Create and maintain an evolving education program that supports the PMI Professional Certification Program.
