Join Us for our June 16, 2020, Online Event Registration Cut-off Date June 15, 10 am Topic: Noisy Risk! Speaker: Tim Dalhouse Overview: We have probably all heard of and used the “Communication Model” which states that every communication involves a sender, a receiver, messages, and noise. But do we understand the sources of noise, how to proactively identify them and attempt to minimize their negative occurrence or impact on our projects? Doesn’t that sound a lot like risk management? Well, it is! To be successful on projects, we must manage communication noise as a risk threat and put strategies in place to avoid, mitigate, transfer or accept the noise in our communications. Together, let’s explore the various sources of noise risk on a typical project and learn how to tame this beast. Will she succeed? Will she be fired? Will the company fail? Lencioni's utterly gripping tale serves as a timeless reminder that leadership requires as much courage as it does insight. Throughout the story, Lencioni reveals the five dysfunctions which go to the very heart of why teams even the best ones-often struggle. He outlines a powerful model and actionable steps that can be used to overcome these common hurdles and build a cohesive, effective team. Just as with his other books, Lencioni has written a compelling fable with a powerful yet deceptively simple message for all those who strive to be exceptional team leaders. .
