The Project Management Institute (PMI) is a non-profit professional association which establishes professional standards for project management, and provides seminars, educational programs and professional certifications. PMI Southern Maryland (PMI SOMD) Chapter’s vision is to serve as a dynamic, leading edge organization of dedicated project management professionals committed to serving the Southern Maryland business and educational communities. PMI SOMD is a 501(c) (6) organization.

Our objective in hosting Professional Development Days (PDDs) is to provide high-quality, high-value offerings to the PMI SOMD community. Last year’s full-day PDD Sold Out with 150 attendees representing a geographically distributed, diverse, and dynamic collection of project management professionals from Calvert, Charles, Prince George’s and St. Mary’s counties as well as Northern Virginia and Washington D.C.
