at the UM Kim Engineering Bldg, Kay Boardroom
Registration ends at 10 am on April 24, 2019
Topic: PMI Talent Triangle
Speaker: Chris Grassmuck
Topic Summary:
While technical skills are core to successful project and program management, PMI research states they’re not enough in today’s increasingly complex and competitive global marketplace. Organizations are seeking added skills in leadership and business intelligence — competencies that can support long-range strategic objectives that contribute to the bottom line.
The PMI Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) program was updated 12/1/2015 to ensure PMI certification holders are equipped to be relevant in an ever-changing business environment. The focus on developing additional skills to meet the changing Project Management industry is as important as ever. Chris Grassmuck, PMI, CSM and Senior Technical Project Manager with IBM, will discuss:
- WHAT this means to you as a PM.
- WHY it has been implemented.
- HOW it has been implemented by PMI.
- HOW it impacts you.
