The Patuxent River Naval Air Museum (PRNAM) is a member-supported, privately-funded museum preserving the history and heritage of Naval Aviation and associated technology.

Our mission is to "Preserve, Educate, Inspire" by presenting the continuing story of Naval Aviation with a focus on Research, Development, Testing, and Evaluation (RDT&E) at Naval Air Station Patuxent River. Our Vision is to be a highly valued community resource providing both educational and tourism benefits to the Southern Maryland area for generations.

Located just outside Gate 1 of Naval Air Station Patuxent River, the PRNAM is operated by the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum Association, Inc., a 501(C)3 non-profit charitable organization. First opened in 1978, the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum now spans three buildings and also includes a Flight Line consisting of one-of-a-kind aircraft and aircraft configurations unique to the Naval Test Center.

Biography:

Scott Larkin, PMP is the CEO of Advanced Systems, Inc., a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business where he has supported DoD and Federal Agency customers for the last 10 years. At Pax River NAS he is employed by TSCTI, Inc. to support the Cybersecurity of NAVAIR PMA-201 Precision Guided Weapons.

Mr. Larkin has performed project and program management activities for over 25 years and certified with PMI as a PMP in 2008 and again in 2016. Additionally he has certified or been designated as an Information Systems Security Officer, Navy Qualified Validator, Certified Information Systems Manager, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Architecture Professional, Management Professional, is a Certified Advanced Security Practitioner Subject Matter Expert, Security+, Server+, and NSA Information Security Assessment Methodology practitioner,

During a career in the UNITED STATES NAVY as an Ocean Systems Technician, Surface Warfare Officer, and Naval Intelligence Officer he served on the staff of Commander Naval Forces, Japan, at the Fleet Ocean Surveillance Information Facility in Kami Seya, Japan, aboard the USS Enterprise (CVN-65), USS Peleliu (LHA-5), and USS Sample (FF-1048), at Navy Recruiting District Los Angeles, and at Naval Facility Argentia, Newfoundland, Canada.

In the 18 years since retiring from duties with the US NAVY, Scott has worked closely with multiple DoD and Federal Agencies in the provision and direction of Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Telecom, Application Development, Service Desk, and Financial Services under Quality Program Frameworks and Performance Based Contracting.  As a contractor, he has been employed with Command Technologies, Inc., Pragmatics, Inc., Advanced Systems, Inc., Imagine One Technology and Management, Inc., and Twenty Second Century Technologies, Inc.  Supported entities have included Naval Air Command, Space and Naval Warfare Command, the Veterans Administration, Defense Information Systems Agency, Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Agency, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Washington Headquarters Service, Army Surface Distribution and Deployment Command, Air Force Communications Agency, Federal Housing Finance Board, Department of Labor, Defense Intelligence Agency, United States Central Command, and United States Special Operations Command.
