Topic: Amplifying Advantage: Strengths-Based Management

Abstract: Strengths-based management has been popularized by Gallup in Now, Discover Your Strengths and StrengthsFinder 2.0. It is key to optimizing employee engagement. However, Gallup is no longer the only strengths game in town. This presentation will describe strengths-based management, its links to key performance outcomes, compare/contrast three different strengths assessments and present an experiential learning opportunity using strengths-based management to create a high performance team.
Links to complete the three strengths-based assessments to be discussed in this presentation will be shared for those registrants who would like to have their own results to work with in the session. The Project Management Center for Excellence at the University of Maryland will sponsor completion of the Realise2 strengths assessment for the first 20 people who register for the event.
