Tim Dalhouse, MBA, PMP, ICP, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of PM-ProLearn; he is also an instructor, speaker, and author with expertise in Project Management, and Project Management Professional (PMP®) exam preparation training. Tim is a decorated Retired U.S. Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sergeant with 24 years of active duty service, including two combat deployments.
After retirement from the Marines, Tim served as Director of Workforce Development & Military Programs with Craven Community College in North Carolina, developing and administering occupational and technical training programs. He then went on to manage software and regulatory projects for the Department of Defense (CGI Federal), US Food & Drug Administration, Department of Veteran’s Affairs (Accenture Federal Services), and Regent Education.
Tim has trained over 1,000 PMP aspirants, and is the author of How to Use Military Experience to Qualify for the PMP Exam. He has taught undergraduate courses at Southern Illinois University and Park University, and professional development courses for American National University, University of Maryland University College, and Montgomery College. Tim is a designated Master Training Specialist by the Chief of Naval Technical Training, and previously held a Top Secret clearance.
Tim holds an MBA in Public Management from Trident University International and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Systems Technology from Southern Illinois University. He is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI®) Washington, DC Chapter and the Golden Key International Honour Society for Academic Excellence.
