Mettler Toledo AutoChem R&D team is looking for an individual to fill a Jr. Project Manager role.  This position will be responsible for assisting with managing product development projects and establishing standard practices. You will work with other key stakeholders to help coordinate schedules and resources to develop and execute product development projects consistent with the overall product roadmap and planned product releases.

  • Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with stakeholders throughout the development cycle.
  • Participate as an active member of the project team to deliver quality products according to defined processes and best practices.
  • Assist Project Managers in overseeing projects throughout all phases.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of formal processes and tools to support effective project management and requirements engineering. 
  • Monitor and report project progress including overall phase schedules and milestones, critical path, project work breakdown structures, work scope definitions and resource requirements.
  • Assist with developing project plans, coordinating and communicating tasks to project team members.
  • Monitor project activities to drive projects to completion with agreed performance, delivery timeline and cost targets.
  • Coordinate meetings and provide support-logistics, agendas, meeting minutes, action items.
  • Effectively implement and monitor project risks mitigation actions.
  • Ensure timely creation and maintenance of project deliverables according to the PLM.
  • Manage and facilitate resolution of conflict within project teams.
  • Work with the Project Office Manager to continuously improve processes, tools and best practices that support project execution, improve project team effectiveness and are aligned with the Mettler Toledo PLM Framework.
  • Produce written documentation to convey critical progress information to stakeholders on a periodic basis.
