President / CEOJeffrey (Jeff) Yellets is a Project Management Professional (PMP). He currently works for Spalding Consulting, Inc. as a PMO Manager. Previously, Jeff worked for Eagle Systems, Inc. in Business Development and for Brandes Associates as the Business Unit Director and the Director for Business Development, at SAIC, serving in various project and program management roles in NAWCAD in St. Inigoes, MD and at Honeywell where he served in various engineering and program management roles. He has a Masters of Science and Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering and has experience with complex project and program management. As a manager at Honeywell, he lead a team of engineers and scientists in the engineering, design and delivery of advanced automation and control programs and projects. He has been a PMP and a member of the Southern Maryland PMI Chapter since 2010. |
Vice President/COOMarina Prasek, PMP is the Project Office Manager at Mettler Toledo AutoChem. In her role, Marina is responsible for leading New Product Development projects. She is also the Owner for Project Management Processes, responsible for championing improvement initiatives and developing and delivering training workshops on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for AutoChem. Marina started her career as a Physical Organic Chemist and held various positions in academia before moving to the corporate world. She has extensive experience with Product Lifecycles Management, and managed product lines for the Defense market from business justification to product retirement. Marina has also served both as subject matter expert (SME) and competitive market analyst in the submission of grants to federal funding agencies. |
Assistant Vice President/COOVACANT The Assistant Vice President/COO shall operate as a member of the Board of Directors in support of the President and Vice President of PMI Southern Maryland Chapter and meetings of the Board. This position reports directly to the Chapter Vice President. |
Past PresidentBrenda Vandegrift is an experienced technical program and project manager with strong system engineering and integration experience. Her in-depth knowledge and experience in project management has supported her successful leadership of award-winning teams that effectively plan, execute, and report on highly-technical projects, with success measured in terms of cost, schedule, performance, quality, and morale. Ms. Vandegrift prides herself on being an effective team builder, successful recruiter, and high-involvement leader with proven success energizing and influencing team results through participative, empowered environments. She leads by example as a self-starter/self-motivated team member with continual emphasis on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Brenda has been a PMP and a member of the Southern Maryland PMI Chapter since 2006. |
Vice President of Membership and Community InvolvementHarry Zolkower, PMP, is an accomplished program manager, project manager, business analyst, and scrum master at Acumen Solutions, with over 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors and experience in several industries, including public housing, health care, IT, and education. He has experience in delivering Salesforce implementations with the ability to manage large, cross-divisional programs and teams in a complex environment and drive results. Excellent client-facing, customer service orientation, communication, critical thinking, multi-tasking, problem-solving, self-starter, time management, and analytical skills. Mr. Zolkower is a results-oriented leader with an extensive background in program and project management services, with expertise in managing and developing projects utilizing Agile methodology, planning, risk assessment, resource management, estimating and monitoring costs, scheduling, assessing customer requirements, identifying dependencies and gaps and developing responsive plans. He has a strong background in planning and execution of full Software Development Lifecycle for application development, enterprise networks, cloud implementation, virtualization, and Salesforce Integration. Experience in administering and validating policies, procedures, processes, and improvements with the collaboration of senior leaders to develop sound business cases for strategic priorities and initiatives. Asst. Vice President of Membership and Community InvolvementSheryl LaGrange is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)® and has been a member of PMI since 2015. She is an accomplished Program Manager who has successfully led projects by guiding and inspiring teams to provide client solutions that deliver value. Her project management experience spans the private sector, non-profit, international, and government organizations. She holds a BS from American University and MBA and MIM degrees from the University of Maryland, University College. She is also an active member of and participant in several professional associations and community organizations. |
Vice President of FinanceMajor General (Retired) Sanford E. Holman joined the PMI Southern Maryland Chapter and attended his first Professional Development Day in November 2016 and began chapter volunteer work in July 2017. He has over 37 years of commissioned service with over 22 years of active duty and 19 years of civilian project management experience. He hails from Gary, Indiana and earned a Bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and was commissioned as an Infantry Officer in 1978. He has commanded from the platoon to the division level and has served as a staff officer from the battalion to the OSD/Joint Staff level. His combat deployments include OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM and OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM. His military education and training include two Master’s degrees, one from the Florida Institute of Technology and the other from the National War College. His awards and decorations include: the Distinguished Service Medal, the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit and the Bronze Star Medal. Vice President of FinanceNancy McClintock, PMP (5-2001) is an accomplished professional with years of comprehensive project and program management experience with United States and international governments with not for profit organizations and private sector consulting firms in the areas of finance, health, international development, and conservation. Her expertise includes providing team leadership, strategic direction across matrix organizations, project management strategies to leverage organizational resources, positively influencing company performance and compliance, proposal development, government wide acquisition contract leadership, contract and project revenue budgetary reviews and growth, and client partnership longevity. Director of Operations for Programs and EventsScott Johnson is a Project Management Professional (PMP) since March of 2019. He currently serves in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Assistant Manager. He has been serving since January 2008 and worked on multiple different aircrafts such as the VC-25, C-32, and the AC-130U. He ran numerous projects inside of his Squadrons and deployed 5 times in support of Operation Iragi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Throughout his service he has volunteered to manage and run different private organizations.

Director of Operations for CommunicationsDavid Popham has worked for more than 25 years in publishing and communications and currently provides graphic design and production services to clients in the Washington, DC area, specializing in automated and XML workflows for print and digital outputs. He also provides training for Adobe products (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat) and for accessible PDF and EPUB creation and serves as an Adobe Community Professional. He has held previous roles as a solutions consultant for Typefi and as a graphic designer for the International Food Policy Research Institute, and he spent nearly a decade as Director of Athletics Communications at Coppin State University. He holds a bachelor's degree in Agribusiness from Western Kentucky University and is currently completing work on a second bachelor's in Public Relations while also preparing for the PMP certification exam. He earned a professional certificate in Agile Project Management from the University of Maryland. |

Keisha has a strong technical and teaching background. She is known for her ability to be able to communicate technical information in a way that is understandable to all audiences. She holds a Master’s degree in Information and Telecommunications Systems from Johns Hopkins University, and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Information Systems and Health Information systems, respectively from the University of Maryland – Baltimore County. Keisha has a passion for community service and enjoys making a difference in the lives of others through consistent community service. She is a mentor to young girls, as well as a Girl Scout troop leader and an Election Judge. Keisha is also an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and looks forward to sharing her skills and talents with the Southern Maryland PMI chapter. Keisha received her PMP certification in October 2019 and has been a member of the Southern Maryland PMI chapter since 2019. |
